Okay: Imagine I or somebody else has written a news post about you in the past. Maybe we have, maybe we haven't? Unless we @-ed you, you had no chance in hell of knowing.
Your chances of getting a reply from somebody specific by shouting into the void are around 1% - even if they log in daily. Why? Because "writing a wish on a slip of paper and throwing it into the street" is not how humans communicate. If you want somebody specific to read what you have to say, then write them a PM.
I don't want one specific person to read my message, if I wanted so, I could just DM them. There's three simple reasons why I make these posts: im bored, i have nothing else to do, why not :)
